Our Journey
Bootcamp history & milestones

2024 Bootcamp (Pre-Rebranding)
We ran a technology bootcamp that gave secondary school students a chance to learn Arduino programming and basic electronics through real projects. That experience planted the seed for Youth Tech Labs, which eventually grew into Youth Tech Foundation.

Youth Tech Labs 2025
The first edition of Youth Tech Labs under Youth Tech Foundation. The curriculum expanded from Arduino alone to include Python, C & SQL, and Arduino and electronics, offering students multiple hands-on lab tracks.

Youth Tech Labs 2026
The 2026 edition is upcoming and focuses on program expansion, adding Full-Stack Web Development and Web Design UI/UX alongside Arduino and Electronics, Python, and C and SQL.

Frequently Asked Questions
Our labs cover practical technology skills across electronics, programming, design, and full-stack development. Each lab is hands-on and project-based, aligned with the GCE Computer Science and Physics curricula where relevant. Students build real projects and leave with portfolio-ready work.
Youth Tech Labs offers five focused labs: Electronics and Arduino (electronics fundamentals, C programming, circuit logic); C and SQL (foundational programming and databases); Python (high-level programming for younger students); Full-Stack Web Development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript); and Web Design UI/UX (interface design, layout, typography).
The Youth Tech Labs summer bootcamp runs from mid-June to mid-July each year, lasting approximately five weeks. All labs are offered during this period. Youth Tech Academy courses run during the school year in partnership with participating schools.
Youth Tech Labs (YTL) is our intensive summer bootcamp, a 5-week program with hands-on labs in electronics, programming, and design. Youth Tech Academy (YTA) is our school-year program delivered in partnership with schools, offering structured courses like Arduino and Electronics and Foundations of Programming throughout the academic year.
